My husband and I decided to carve out some special time and headed to the heart of Old Town for a delightful dinner at the recently opened Mon Cheri.
Now, Mon Cherie isn’t your typical Scottsdale eatery. This charming spot is a champagne café and charcuterie bar with a decidedly feminine touch. Think lush velvet seating, stylish lighting, and even pink tableware! It’s the perfect place for a girls’ night out, a romantic date (which is exactly what we were looking for!), or even a solo escape.
We started our evening by sharing the Bread & EVOO board. This was beautifully presented with herb focaccia, country bread, baguette, herb garlic, red pepper flakes, parmesan, toasted garlic butter, & of course EVOO and balsamic vinegar.
For my main course, I totally caved to the pink alfredo pasta. Trust me, it sounds weird, but this dish was amazing – fresh, flavorful, and cooked to perfection.
To wash it all down, we opted for the whimsically named “Pink Swan” mocktail made with Lyer’s non-alcoholic rum, coconut cream and several other delicious ingredients.
Whether you’re a local or a visitor, Mon Cheri is a must-try for anyone looking for a unique and delicious dining experience in Old Town Scottsdale.
Pro Tip: Be sure to make reservations in advance, especially on weekends, as this place is already generating quite a buzz!
